Mike Faust graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992 and from Drake University Law School in 1994. Originally from Oregon, Wisconsin, he has practiced law since 1995 in Rock County, Wisconsin, and joined Consigny Law Firm, S.C., in 2000. On January 1, 2007, he became a shareholder of the firm.

Mr. Faust concentrates his practice in the areas of business and corporate law, real estate, estate planning, and probate, and works in these areas in both our Janesville and Brodhead offices.

Mr. Faust is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Rock County Bar Association. Mike is active in many community organizations. He serves as Treasurer for two organizations, The Enrichment Center, Inc., a center for developmentally disabled adults in Rock County, and Rock Around the Block, Inc., a non-profit organization that holds charitable events for various organizations each year. He is past District President of Wisconsin/Upper Peninsula Exchange Clubs. He recently served three terms as a board member of the Downtown Janesville Business Improvement District. In December of 2025, he was appointed to the board of the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin. For several years, Mr. Faust coached league teams, tournament, and fall teams for the Janesville Youth Baseball and Softball Association.

Mr. Faust lives in Janesville with his wife, Jenny. Together they raised three children: Alex, Lauren, and Jacob. He enjoys reading, attending sporting events, working on community service projects and travel.
