Mark
Kopp graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He received his
law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988 and was
admitted to the bar that same year. A shareholder at the firm since
1994, Mr. Kopp has been an attorney with Consigny, Andrews, Hemming
& Grant since his admission to the bar.
A member of the
State Bar of Wisconsin and the Rock County Bar Association, Mr. Kopp is
licensed to practice in all Wisconsin state courts and in the U.S.
District Court.
Mr. Kopp knows that the role of an attorney
is to help people solve their problems. Because attorneys can have a
tremendous impact on people's lives, they must keep in mind that their
actions affect real people, not abstractions. An advocate for the
rights of all people, regardless of economic status, his efforts for
the financially disadvantaged have been featured in the Wisconsin
Lawyer magazine.
Mr. Kopp enjoys spending time with his wife,
Marjorie, and their three sons: Neil, Brock and Ian. He enjoys downhill
skiing, golf, and Packer football. He has been active in coaching
Little League, Janesville Youth Football and sports sponsored by the
YMCA. He has been involved in Scouting and currently serves as a member
of the Rock County Bench/Bar committee.
