Labor and Employment Law

Our firm provides labor and employment legal services to employers of all size, both public and private.  We have experience providing day-to-day advice regarding issues that arise in the workplace, drafting employment policies and personnel manuals and litigating employment related matters. Our attorneys have defended employers against complaints made by employees through administrative proceedings, court proceedings, mediations and arbitrations.  We also have experience representing management in labor negotiations.  This experience includes claims of wrongful discharge and state and federal discrimination and harassment claims, as well as alleged violations of regulations applicable to work place safety and health, family and medical leave, wage and hour, unfair labor practices, and more.  We routinely review proposed employment actions, such as discipline, discharge and reductions in force, in order to minimize or eliminate adverse claims.

We represent both employers and employees through negotiations to begin employment and separation from employment situations, including drafting of employment contracts, separation agreements, restrictive covenants and other associated documents.  We also defend employers and employees against administrative claims made against professional licenses.
